Rae Nation

Rae initiated and became the founding President  of the Gallery in 2005. She is also a member of the RSASA.
She commenced training as an art teacher but domestic duties took priority until her children became independent. She is largely self-taught but has attended workshops with many well known SA and interstate artists. Her preferred medium is pastels but also she produces works in watercolours and oils. In addition she likes to express her love of drawing using the 'pen and wash' technique.
Rae has exhibited widely throughout SA and has won prizes and awards at several local events including the Royal Adelaide Show.
